Atonement Lutheran School programs are open to any parents who want their children to have a Christ-centered education. The programs are not limited to children of the members of Atonement Lutheran Church.

Admission interviews are conducted with parents.

Early Childhood Program: Students must be age 2, 3 or 4 before September 1st to enter and must be toilet trained. A copy of your child’s birth certificate, a completed application, emergency information, immunization card and copy of immunization record are required.

Elementary School Program: A birth certificate, health forms and immunization records are required for all new students. The staff will evaluate new students. All new students without previous year’s achievement test results will be evaluated to determine their reading and math levels of achievement. These tests are to be used primarily for correct placement and not for determining ability, intelligence or acceptance.

Kindergarten: Child must be 5 by September 1. Children will be placed in the age appropriate class. If the child has been enrolled in another accredited school, teacher and administration may make a grade level adjustment after a period of assessment.

First Grade and above: Pupils entering at grade level must submit a copy of their most current report card and achievement scores from within the past year.

Students transferring into the school must present evidence of their grade placement. Acceptance into a particular grade shall be based on the student’s academic progress prior to making application for admission, results of entrance examination and/or the recommendation of professional personnel.

Students who have been suspended or expelled from another school program may be conditionally admitted. Full disclosure of circumstances is required.

Financial assistance is available based upon financial need. Tours and open houses are available through the Admissions office. Beginning with the new school year, Atonement offers ‘Back to School Night’ for preschool - 8th grade.
