Music is a gift that speaks to us in ways the words sometimes do not. Combined with the word of God it is a powerful way to present His message of grace and salvation to His people. God has given music as a blessing that can be shared and appreciated by everyone. Much more than just entertainment, it is a way of offering our praises to God and, at the same time, hearing His word.
Atonement’s Adult Choir and the Bell Choir offer an opportunity for our members to share their talents and their gift of music given by our Lord.
Both choirs are open to members of high school age and older. The Bell Choir rehearses at 6:15 every Thursday evening, and the Adult Choir rehearses immediately afterward at 7:30 PM (Sept through May – please check the calendar info below for exact dates / times). Our style of music ranges from traditional to somewhat contemporary. If you have a desire to share your talent in one or both of the choirs, please feel free to join us at rehearsal and find out what it is all about.
Tim Pleger is the director of the Adult Choir and Patti Brink directs the Bell Choir. Both are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
“Sing a new song to the Lord. Sing His praise from the ends of the earth!” Isaiah 42:10
